Dahlia Health

We care about the quality of dahlias we grow and have the Washington State Department of Agriculture inspect our stock during the growing season and while storing tubers. Along with these inspections, we randomly test a selection of our dahlia plants for Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), Impatiens necrotic spot virus (INSV) and Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) with Agdia tests. These random tests are done on plants that are failing to thrive without obvious signs of virus or plants we plan to sell and/or propagate. We are actively pulling suspected plants, managing pests, and using only sanitized tools for harvesting and dividing throughout the year with our dahlias.
